Tuesday the 8th december 2020 is the day that 40 years ago John Lennon was murdered in New York at the age of 40. The world was in shock and lost one of the greatest artists of mankind and the 20th century.
Because of this special day and the meaning of John Lennon in music, the art and for the world, I call on all radio stations in the world, big and small, to open on the 8th of december their morningshow right after 08.00 (local time) with the Lennon classic IMagine from 1971. It isn't only a beatyfull song because of the music, but also powerfull because of the lyrics.
This Radio Memorial is not only for his person and meaning in music, but is also a message to the world which is captured in violence, wars, discrimination, poverty, corona and so many refugees.
